King I Divine

The almighty King I Divine joins me for a sit-down to chat about authenticity in hip-hop, not conforming to a certain sound, and staying true to yourself. We also tackle the Kanye/Chaka Khan sampling fiasco, Madlib using an iPad to craft an entire album and what to expect from Divine Scienze III. We chat about growing up in Queens, and why I owe Scienze $30 for a vinyl years ago. He is back after a hiatus to grace us with numerous new projects, with Firefly EP being the latest. This year is gearing up to be a big one for King I Divine and I am happy to share his journey with you.
