Beatchild

“Beatchild”, formerly known as Slakah the Beatchild has written and produced countless hip-hop, soul infused recordings, including his own series of Soul Movement albums. I'm lucky enough to sit down with him to talk about his journey from producing for artists like Drake and Glenn Lewis, to gaining an internship, growing up in Sarnia, and how he has navigated his career up to his new retrospective instrumental collection entitled, Nostalgia: Beats of 2008 – 2020. It doesn't seem that there is anything Beatchild can't do or do well. The proof is in his grooves.
